Street lights, in most of the major street’s and bye-lanes of Nalbari town, have been installed by the Nalbari Municipal Board. The Board is also responsible for the day-to-day operations/lighting (switching on & off) of the installed lights and their maintenance at its own expense for the benefit and safety of the citizens of the town. As the town has seen rapid expansion, many new areas , from time to time, have been taken into consideration to initiate installation of street-lights.
